The Grant of Probate is issued by the High Court to give the Executors of a Will permission to administer the estate according to the deceased’s wishes.

It is always required if the assets of the deceased Estate exceed $15,000.00. Joint assets with a spouse such as bank accounts, investments or property in joint names are not included in this calculation.
