2013 Port Chalmers Seafood Festival
Joanna Rolfe is a volunteer on the 2013 Port Chalmers Seafood Festival Organising Committee. Those who attended the 2011 Festival know how successful it was and the Committee is working hard to make it even better in 2013.
The next Seafood Festival is scheduled for Saturday 21 September 2013 and they wish to expand on last year’s success to hold an event that will become a staple of the New Zealand seafood experience.
Once again, Port Otago is generously hosting the Festival on its export wharf in picturesque Port Chalmers. Ticket holders will be able to travel to the event on the Taieri Gorge Train or by bus to sample the best of what the city has to offer at the many food and beverage stalls. With the freshest seafood, live music, demonstrations and activities for the whole family, the Port Chalmers Seafood Festival is an event not to be missed.
